A Brief History After having trained in a well positioned family run jewellers for 10 years, it was time to 'go it alone' and so The Jewellers Bench began in our garage in Ainsdale in September 2000. We quickly outgrew our surroundings and moved the workshop to Liverpool and as our family was expanding decided to relocate to our current premises at 46 Station Road in Decemeber 2003. In the beginning we were simply a workshop with a trade counter but this made it possible to spend time with our clients and really understand what they required of us. It became clear that we needed to expand our range of services from specialing in repairs and remodelling to sales. In July 2010, we were pleased to open up our second shop in Birkdale Village giving us the opportunity to provide specialist knowledge and thoughtful service to another small community and now have an even larger selection of both modern and classic jewellery to choose from. We source our stock from many countries both near and far with our sales team having direct inpout in selecting new lines. Our jewellery is sometimes new, sometimes vintage but always perfect for you.
A Little About Our Jewellers We are reffered to as 'time served' meaning we have committed to full apprenticeships in our younger days learning from older and wiser professionals. We also completed diamond/stone setting courses in Manchester, City and Guilds retailing in Liverpool, advanced jewellery repair courses in London and diamond grading in Antwerp. Over the years we have taught our skills to the younger generation, some of whom are now enjoying their own success.
